MASA’OPO

CÍCLICA — Brazil–Taiwan Cultural Delegation | MASA’OPO 2026 CÍCLICA — Brazil–Taiwan Cultural Delegation is an international cultural exchange, artistic circulation, and creative research project bringing together Brazilian artists and cultural professionals to develop, present, and share contemporary practices across independent publishing, artists’ books, dance, performance, music, design, visual arts, photography, audiovisual practices, education, and cultural production. The delegation will take place in November 2026, with activities in Taoyuan and Taipei, Taiwan, as part of the MASA’OPO programme and its broader opportunities for artistic and intercultural exchange. The project is developed in dialogue with the Taoyuan Indigenous Peoples Development Foundation, creating a space for exchange between Brazilian artistic perspectives and Indigenous cultural contexts in Taiwan. The delegation emphasizes interdisciplinary and intercultural approaches, exploring relationships between body, territory, memory, ancestry, identity, artistic practice, publishing, and cultural transmission. Through workshops, performances, presentations, artistic research, and institutional encounters, CÍCLICA aims to establish meaningful connections between Brazilian and Taiwanese artists, cultural practitioners, institutions, and communities.
